FAQs

1. Who do you work with?

I work with high-achieving, intuitive and creative people—often professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs—who struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, and burnout. Many of my clients have ADHD, are highly sensitive, or have spent their lives masking their neurodivergence, leaving them feeling stuck, exhausted, and disconnected from themselves.

2. How is coaching different from therapy?

Therapy focuses on healing past wounds, emotional processing, and deeper psychological work, while coaching is action-oriented, present-focused, and designed to build strategies for moving forward. My coaching work is great for individuals who want support with executive function, leadership skills, self-regulation, and personal growth without diving into trauma processing. If we determine that therapy would be a better fit, I can provide referrals or discuss options.

3. What approaches do you use in your work?

I take an integrative, client-centered approach, blending Internal Family Systems (IFS), executive function coaching, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions—we co-create a process that works for your unique brain, goals, and challenges.

4. Do you only work with clients who have ADHD?

Not necessarily! Many of my clients come to me curious about ADHD, giftedness, high sensitivity, or anxiety. I work with individuals who resonate with feeling different, stuck in perfectionism, or struggling with emotional regulation and burnout. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to benefit from this coaching.

5. What happens in a coaching session?

Coaching is collaborative and action-oriented. In our sessions, we’ll:

  • Identify roadblocks in your work, life, or personal growth

  • Develop customized strategies that align with your strengths

  • Work with IFS techniques to address internal resistance or self-sabotage

  • Create momentum-based systems that help you stay on track

  • Troubleshoot challenges in real-time so you don’t stay stuck

Sessions are interactive, practical, and flexible—we adjust as we go based on what’s most helpful to you.

6. How long do clients typically work with you?

It depends! Some clients work with me for a short-term series of sessions to tackle a specific challenge, while others prefer ongoing support to maintain accountability and growth. We’ll discuss your goals upfront and determine a structure that fits your needs.

7. Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! I work virtually with clients across New York for therapy and offer coaching services nationwide. Sessions are held over secure video conferencing, making it easy to fit into your schedule.

8. Do you take insurance?

For therapy clients in New York, I am in-network with Aetna and can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement with other insurers. Coaching is private pay only, as it is not considered a medical service.

9. What are your rates?

My rate is $275 per 55-minute session. Coaching is an investment in long-term change, and I work with clients to develop actionable, sustainable strategies that create lasting impact. At this time, coaching is private pay only and is not covered by insurance.

10. I think I might have ADHD but I’ve never been diagnosed. Can you help?

Yes! Many of my clients come to me unsure if they have ADHD but struggling with focus, motivation, or executive function challenges. I can provide formal diagnostic testing for those in New York and I can help you understand your brain, develop strategies that work for you. For those in other states, I can refer you to a diagnostician who specializes in ADHD evaluation.

11. How do I get started?

The first step is to schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit. In this call, we’ll talk about:

  • What you’re struggling with & what’s been holding you back

  • What kind of support or structure you’re looking for

  • How I work and whether coaching or therapy is the right fit for you
